Haven’t you felt more of an urge to get outside and take a walk or get on your bike?
While exercise is important no matter the time of year, it is especially essential as we transition into Spring. Our tendency in the Winter is to slow down and hibernate, so early Spring is the time to begin to lift the energy of the system.
There is no easy way to make this happen other than “just do it.”
I’ve tried to make it a little easier for you by sharing a 30-minute yoga practice designed to energize and revitalize.
In this transitional season, we need more Surya Namaskar (salutations to the sun), back bends, and spinal twists, with focused awareness at the heart center. It’s helpful to stay in poses longer than you think and keep you gaze lifted upward.
